It is situated over River Usk in Wales. It is connected well with roads and trains. Cardiff is the nearest airport. As the name suggests it became a port to help big ship vessels. It is mainly a Welsh urban area.

Newport Arcade and Market Arcade is great place to shop. The variety you will find at the Victorian Provisions Market is just amazing. You can easily find big brands and chic dress shops around.

Not far from Newport is a 17th century mansion standing up majestically called Tredegar House. If you are looking for a short stay, there are heaps of hotels for all budgets.

It is a growing city with a lot of potential and future development including big shopping centres and hospitals on the agenda. It is still a big rough in some parts, but things are changing

The Newport Wetlands are beautiful nature spots with interesting lagoons and reeds to watch. Spend time the abundant animals, insects and birds.

Leek, daffodils and welsh culture dominate the place. St Woolos Cathedral is a great ancient architecture worth a visit. The main M4 motorway sits on the City Bridge itself.

Some say its similar to Nottingham. Some people do not prefer it because of the people and environment. Most of the city has village population and not a place to be out in the nights.

Vandalism may have taken away the charm, but it still retains its historical heritage in high pride. In the small town of Caerleon are the mysterious excavation remains.

Nightlife is very active with lot of music thrown in. The Newport Transporter Bridge is a real sight to watch at night. The Riverfront Arts Centre and George Street Bridge are cook places to hang out.

Lot of people have moved out of Newport, but the memories fail to leave their head. Its work in progress with plenty of jobs on offer.
